Into the woods: Wedgwood Briar Rose

There were just too many possibilities with this pattern! Here is one more look to wrap up autumn.

Hello diners, welcome back! Well, this setting only has three placesettings, because apparently, I mis-placed this twig charger

Not exactly sure how one looses a charger of this size, but I did. It must be with the all of the missing socks and Tupperware lids. While I did mention in my last blog that I would usually not put transferware with a charger, this natural twig one was just too inviting.

And, Williams Sonoma linens never fail to disappoint!

For this table I scavenged all of the autumnal (one of the best words ever) items I could find, including pairing the Briar Rose with Spode Woodland and these contemporary leaf plates.

The brown table topper was from my very first table at Lakewold Gardens also using the Spode Woodland pattern. Its hard to see, but it has little dots of deep teal and bright green making it the perfect match for this table.

Keeping with the simple theme as well as the timeframe, I used the Reed and Barton Reed flatware again.

I also used these beautiful teal vintage Indiana wine glasses and paired them with these fun goblets from Anthropologie...can you see the hedgehog??

Here are a few more photos-

Stephen got me these walnut and twig spoons several years ago. The photo does not do them justice.

Even the autumn faires came out to take closer look.

Thanks for stopping by! I always appreciate you and love your comments. Feel free to share with others who appreciate beautiful table-settings and vintage items. And be sure to check out our sponsors.

Next blog will be the final Red Transferware challenge table, and I have 2025 all planned - at least for now...with so many beautiful china patters out there, who knows what might show up! See you soon, until then enjoy something beautiful, ~d

Here is one final look -
